This was not directed at you; was for other members here. Dealers still make money off invoice, as you know.

Anyone can pay $400-$500.00 for a cross country flight and buy a vehicle for less than MSRP.

The only time I ever paid MSRP is in CA.

Understood. I've known a few to do so, but they run into registration problems for not having a residency in the given state. They pay taxes regardless of how they go about it. With the allocation of the pro Series vehicles, they should allow people to just order them.

 The fear, uncertainty and doubt you are attempting to sell here is astounding.

Customers pay registration for the state they reside. Easy; done every day. Again, as you know...

Also- ebay sells/ships thousands of vehicles everyday for other states. So do some car dealerships.

None of this was directed to you. But please- DO NOT mislead fellow TW members- so you can sell a truck. You can catch more flies with honey, than vinegar.

Fear?!? What fear am I trying to instill?!?! I am trying to notify people on the thread that we have a few. I do not need or desire help on here to sell any given trucks. I dont ever advertise on this site. I was merely informing you of our current inventory. This is all. As for out of state purchases, I have friends that have experienced problems. This is true. I am no keyboard gangster. I am in the business, & I am just verbalizing my experiences.

Best of luck as said before with your pricing wishes and out of state purchasing. Everyone who disusses such issues on here never seems to be an actual owner of one the trucks, just a hopeful critic.

Best of luck selling your trucks! :hattip:

I am an actual owner; this is how I know.

Both my vehicles were purchased new, out of state. Paid invoice for our 2018 Outback, paid $900 BELOW invoice for my 2014 Tacoma TRD OR, when new. Paid title transfer fee of $75.00 or so for each; dealers graciously handled all of it. Each dealer said they do it on an ongoing basis.

This is done frequently in other states.

They sell on a daily basis. We've never had an issue. But thanks. And yes, you have a offroad... people are giving those away. You can get a 2018 for 500 back of invoice anywhere. That Is normal. This thread is about trd pros... not trd offroads... you dont think its misleading to people on the profile to tell them they can buy 2018 Trd Pro Tacoma's for 42k??

You can, I got mine for 41k. To think anyone would pay 60k is just insane. Get on a plane, fly to the east coast, drive back to the west and enjoy.

I know of a couple other guy who have paid the same or very close to what I paid for a pro here on the east coast. Absoulety no reason to pay a dealer mark up that like anywhere.

Awesome. If that's true, and you got it 45k otd with no trade in or money down - sounds like a good deal! Everyone should definitely rush out there and buy them if they're looking for one then.

And agreed, 60k is insane. I dont think them selling for MSRP is too much to ask is all I was saying.

I got 24 k for my 2nd gen trade in. South Carolina taxes are 500 bucks on a new vehicle. Dealer fee was 399 bucks. I had just under 18k difference that I paid. They wouldn’t wave the 399 dealer fee at all and I was fine with that since that’s all I got charged from them. Plate transfer was 25 bucks.

Idk if I should be flattered or mad...thanks I guess? You’re prolly right I should have taken a crazy interest rate instead of beating them down on price and paying cash. Live that American dream of being in debt...

My wife does that shit to me all the time over txt. I’m always wondering if she’s being a smartass or serious. Then I remember who I married....just her being a smartass.

I couldn't imagine having to take time off work to fly across country and drive a new vehicle back home. I know people do it regularly, but if that is what it took to get a vehicle I wanted I would just look at different vehicles. There's always someone closer that would be willing to deal on some kind of 4x4 pickup. I live in Texas though, the 4x4 pickup market is pretty competitive here.

What the blue fuck would pay that markup when it isn’t hard to find a dealer to charge MSRP
