I agree also but the protectionist attitude bugs me. It’s like those ranchers grazing their cattle on public lands shooting us the stank eye. Or the people that drug their fifth wheel into a mountain valley shooting us the stink eye. Or the snowmobilers that took pictures of our trucks and plates to call the DNR. We have the same rights to this public infrastructure. You don’t NEED to map it and name it and make it easier but why not? It makes it easier to be legal. It makes it easier to tread lightly. There is always a consequence to use even foot traffic.

Hey, hey, hey. It's not my fault they think 30mph is fast. That's their problem.

They think 10 is fast BTW that was kind of fun when the group of snowmobiles looked at us like how the hell did you get a group of 5-6 trucks back in here? The look on their faces was priceless and the DNR officer they sicked on us was a cool guy who reaffirmed our right to be there.

The one guy from Grand Marais nailed it perfectly, even if he drives a jeep. All these city people escape from the city and move there and then want to close the gate on anyone else. Grand Marais is pretty artsy fartsy for its location. And full of escapies from cities. Those are the ones that want to shut the doors, true locals not so much.

Yeah the trail already exists they are just trying to do it "right".

Friend of mine lives in Silver Bay and I asked him awhile back why there were so many Green Party voters on the North Shore. He replied because they aint from here. I don't think many of them like my bumper sticker

Which is why I have it, and they aren't real bright. Without successional habitat there is little to no habit for wildlife. But not going to change their minds. About harvesting trees or OHV's. But they will push to put in more than 4,000 miles of paved bicycle trails that can only be used ~6 months out of the year. And most of them ride down the middle of the road anyhow because the law says they can

Earth First is an environmental group of tree huggers, among other radical ideas including putting the earth first before human life.

They know what it means :D I take it as a good sign that you do not.

Anyone have a hard bed cover they want to part with for a 01-04 DC Tacoma?

Also, I am new to Minnesota and looking for adventure trail riding locations that offer tent camping along the way. I have an '81 Honda XL185s I finished semi-restoring not long ago.

Hi, I'm in south Minneapolis with some suspension issues. I'm about 1200 miles from home and a mechanic I trust. Anyone near me that could help or recommend a place that's honest? thanks

I go to world auto repair in Eden prairie. When a dealer quoted my company over $2000 in repairs to fix some bouncing at highway speed (I suggested it could just be the tires but we were getting the cruise control fixed too), went to world auto repair and they said it all looks fine other than the tires are uneven and need to be replaced.

Mostly stock with a few minor mods.
Just checking to see if I spotted a TW member tonight...

Tacoma headed southbound on Hwy 65 turned east on Hwy 2 in front of me in Swan River. Had your ditch lights on.

    Just checking...:)
