I've seen different spring setups for sure. Do you need spring seats - I have extras but they're flat king ones.

This is what was shared with me

    www.car-parts.com
Pick 1980 and either E150 or F150 and it will cross reference different years and models. E150 is 69" and Bronco/F150 are 65" for 9" housings if you want to do a salvage one and truss it yourself.

It's less than an inch wider per side.

Thats why I liked it because right now im running spacers so it eliminates the need for them. But I’ve Been talking with the shop about options and compatibility so well see.

I wanted to go that route but from what im told tundra abs is not compatible with the tacoma and thats a deal breaker for me... thanks anyway. so now I might just get a new 8” housing and throw a truss on it. Don’t know yet.

Oh yea idk if I wanna go with 4.88s, I was told that they have smaller teeth so I should stick with 4.56s. So im probably going to keep an eye out for a housing. Thanks though.

How much do you want for the third member? Shipping probably kills sending the whole thing cross country.

    Less length, more girth
First gen guys: any of you blow up steering rack mounts? rack, inner outer tie rods are ok, just the passenger side mount is peeling off the subframe/crossmember. shouldbe easy to fix and I don't really want it reinforced to preserve the rack in the future. Front Locker + axle breakage was involved.

OEM rack and tie rods w/50k or less. 1G LT tundra, but it's pretty similar to a 1G taco

I needed this info thanks. Couldn't remember the "cheap" 9'' housings.

On a second gen a 1st gen tundra axle is about 1'' per side. Its almost 3'' per side on a 1st gen taco.

    Yes.

I think @jberry813 had @JLee make him a super beefy new mount. Not sure if he would make one again or not, Id contact him directly. I've wanted to do that for a while.
