SOB, last time I checked circles don’t fit in ovals. I’m going to have to get creative and fab up a speaker mount.

 

@YamaDirtrider How easy would it be to DIY an exhaust reroute if I went to a junkyard and found some good pipes?

 

Welding would be easy, it’s bendig the pipe to the desired angles need. Exhaust pipe is super thin

Honestly it’s one that it’s easier to let a shop who does that kinda work do

Their sliders saved me from wrecking my passenger rocker/door. Held up the whole weight of the truck off a drop onto the sliders when I slid into a vnotch

 

That's what I was looking at. $300 for weld on, with DOM steel, square tubing and kickout. The way they ship seems to allow you to adjust the angle to whatever you want as well.

I would need to rattle-can them though. But that's no big deal.

As well as LCA skids for $97 seems fair.

Speaking of odd things found, a while back I found this sitting on top of my front skid. No idea what it was.

 

Yep you can weld them at whatever height and angle you'd like. Rattle can is great because it's easy to touch up.

I hit any spots with a wire brush and then just spray them after a trip

I got longer screws for the mounting circle so that bitch is solid.

 

That is what divides the Nitrogen and Oil in the aluminum Resi.

I did my door speakers a few months ago. Spent $250 and amazed at the quality difference. Put some sound dampening material in the doors as well. Don't even have an amp yet.
