It's less Tacoma and more mod
That can be hellish when looking for certain little items. Luckily 240z are pretty simple. I really need a 300zx man.... I looked at another today. The owner had mis listed it as a manual... Got there and it was an auto :/

Ain't this a biatch. Finally make it to Virginia Beach to visit some old friends and there's a god damn hurricane headed my way. Her husband (my friend) passed away from complications from surgery 3 years ago. Haven't seen them in 10 years since they moved out of the house next door to us. We've stayed tight close friends with her and the kids.
Now were trying to decide to ride it out or leave early.

Leave her and the kids to ride it out alone?......

Absolutely. If you are able, GTFO now. Not trying to be insensitive, just enough reports of people losing their property AND lives because they wanted to ride it out vs. leaving. Things can be replaced, life cannot.

    Be safe @mechanicjon

A predicted cat 3 at land sounds crazy to me. I’d pack everyone and go inland. Nothing to gain staying put.

Seeing how much more money I can burn on this truck. I'm starting to have regerts. The left front fender is junk so I got a new one from Toyota. $$$. I tear the front fender off to find the fender stay is also junk get a new one from Toyota. I also managed to break off two bolts in the body which I'm just going let the body shop deal with.

I'm getting tired of my place looking like a junkyard

His situation could go either way. Cat 3 means it could be nothing at all or all hell could break loose. Im biased because my moms family is all from the Florida east coast so were not really phased by these storms. Im 2 hours west of VA beach and were just expecting rain and a little wind.

One of the many insane things I've read in that thread was "well if you can't afford to lose $3k on a bumper you shouldn't be buying a bumper." I'd like to know what that person does for a living to justify that statement. The cheap money has flowed way too long and hard when $3k is nothing

I like your comment about people posting dogs and security animals.

Fuck you ;), I’m just adding my trash to the dumpster that threads turned into. If the people affected want information and they’re looking in that thread they’re gonna have to dig through piles of trash anyway
