Really great color. Better in person than in picture, imo.

yeah idk if dealers didn't mark them up and still would negotiate then it wouldn't be to bad. but $44k is still tough on a midsize

Absolutely. I don’t think I would ever be willing to pay that much on a mid size

passed a Toyota dealer the other day. Had a new Tundra out front with "Only $42,999 on the side"... idk but I don't think "only" above $30k shouldn't be used haha

only good thing about Tacomas and Tundra are yeah $40k is a lot but they always start and run, vs $40k on the GM twins. So you pay a lot for the reliability factor

For the most part I think the tundras a reasonably priced for the most part but it’s ridiculous how 40-45k for a vehicle is considered normal or low nowadays

I think dollar wise they are the best value out there. They don't have quite as much tech in them, but that's the reason why the other trucks skyrocket in price. All the new buyers want the best of the best so $60k became pretty normal now for a full size. Ford dealer by me can barely keep the new superduty platinum's on the lot ($80k+)

I am pretty set now to just keep to the CPO market and pick up a couple year old 4Runner/Taco/Tundra for the more reasonable $30k territory

Same boat as you. Next vehicle will be pre owned. I can’t imagine having a note on a $60-80k truck

Would you miss having a truck bed if you switched over to a Four-Runner? I would.....

I miss having the truck because of that. but the Runner is a better family mobile, and I like the extra creature comforts of it

I say I probably wouldn't as we don't use the bed much. But as soon as I got rid of it then I would have a bunch of reasons to need it.

Although I'm sure that blue will be a color on the 2019 Tacomas, maybe I'll get a manual

It looks like it will be available on all trim levels for 2019. You can only get a manual trans on trd sport ac and dcsb, off road dcsb, and pro dcsb

Yeah I have no idea why you can't get a long bed in a manual?
