I bought the fake “OEM” ones off Amazon for 30 bucks. They fit like a glove and impressed with them. They do keep crap off the sides of the truck but the only thing I don’t like is that they are concaved. Mud, sand, clay get caked in to them making them harder to clean but not a big deal.

I say get them if you like your paint pristine. I do!

i had them on my second gen OR. I broke one on the front, at the mounting point.

On my 2018 OR I got RokBlokz (expensive, yes). I had them on a Subaru before, and they are nice.

They have two mounting instructions, one for stock and one slightly different for a bit larger tires, but I susepect the front would rub if running a size up with an agressive tread.

I mainly have them on to keep the slush and spray down from when winter rolls around and they treat the roads.

I put Husky's on mine. They seem to be pretty darn good.

Any bit of off roading will rip them off IMO.

I've had mud flaps on my 1st gen, 2nd gen, and FJ and never paid attention to them. My 3rd gen didn't come with them, and I got tired of slinging mud and dirt on the side of my truck really fast. Bought some a few weeks ago... I'm a fan. I do a fair amount of off roading and been out twice since I got them. No snags or slinging.

I like mine. But I don't do any crazy stuff offroad. I basically just ride dirt roads to get to some mountain bike trails or small streams to fish.

Just got some RedHound that I'm going to try - initial eyeballing they'll do decent for less doll hairs that TRD. See how it goes. Guess I should start a build thread once I get a solid direction chosen....

Installed the husky. No rubbing on the street at all with 265/75/16s. Should help save the paint alittle on dirt and rock roads.

20180716_133657.jpg I have factory mudflaps with 265/75/16 ko2 tires on stock or wheels. I have no rubbing and I have sat the truck on the mudflaps off-road before and they just sprung back into position. I got mine on Amazon. I've done several trails including this one with no problems with the mud flaps. Mines the brown one btw.

I like em' well enough. Been debating ordering a set of 4WD stickers for the back ones. I enjoy not spraying mud and gravel all over almost as much as I enjoy them not looking like I bought them at walmart
