Find the lip on the cv and pry with a bar, might take a bit of messing around it get it.

Someone with more experience will come in a second if they haven’t already.

I wish I could work on my truck, im stuck in Alaska for three months with no rig. My trucks just sitting at home in the garage. Hawaii to Alaska in less then a week was a big change though. I'm just sitting up here looking at old pics of my truck.

    Of course! I love safety!

It’s for my metal chop saw that I got yesterday. The grinder I bought because the way I used to use my angle grinder was I’d put it on the ground and step on the trigger and use it like that.

Did you take the skid plate off? I think it’s an easier angle to get at from underneath

Big prybar. That’s what I did.

And to push it back in, use he CV as a slide hammer by the joint. Grab the outer boot and slam it forward.

Got it out of the diff, wasn't that bad. Can't seem to snake it out though, so you have to pull the sway bar link off to make room?

You've never seen a slide hammer before? Such a useful tool for seals, CV's, body work, etc.
