Just ordered my hub assemblies. Contemplating ordering gusseted spindles as well. Dahlia gonna be fresh af. Should be good to go by then. I'll be organizing a camp trip around the same time so maybe we can figure out something to combine the two.

I can't remember if I posted about it in this thread but I burned out my smittybilt xrc8 winch last week. I've got a 12,000 lb warn sitting on the living room floor right now. Gonna be able to pull 2 Tacoma's plus camping gear and a full grown moose up a cliff after I get it installed. Haha

They are kind of a luxury if I do. I haven't bent anything "yet ". They would be nice but with all the other work i'm doing they are pushing the budget pretty hard. New CV axles, new hub assemblies, new tie rods, royal purple oil change, front diff gear oil change, uca refresh with new ball joints in the spc's, all the axle seals etc..... it's adding up. Was going to do the ecgs bushing but I haven't felt the need for it yet.

@05tacomabro Ya it always adds up quick when its time for a refresh. I feel ya, I'm in the same boat.

The only real problem with a spindle failure is, its all good until the time that its not and that typically creates catastrophic damage and great videos. lol

its always easier to chime in and say "you should buy this" than it is to pay for all the stuff...

Very true sir! But now that I know how accessible they are and I've made verbal contact, I can have them here in 3 days time if I change my mind or ever need them. My focus is just a refresh of the front so I can attend to the rear, big changes coming there.

Yes. @Mxpatriot is not making them anymore. I found a different source for a similar product, except more money for thinner steel :notsure:. My @RelentlessFab bumper has... basically reinforcement plates that go onto the bumpermount bolts, in front of the bumper (so the bumper is sandwiched between the mount plates and reinforcement plates) and tie back into the frame about a foot back, in order to reinforce it for winching. Anyhow, I talked to @RelentlessFab and he said that for a 12,000# winch, he'd recommend additional reinforcement. I think I might be able to get the old winch out and the new one in without pulling the bumper. If I can, I have a loose plan of how I can weld plates onto the back of the bumper mount plates and gusset them to the frame. If I have to pull the bumper than I'll probably overbuild the living shit out of it, but either way, at this point, I'll either do it myself or go to @JeepAndrew for fabrication needs.
