Beat on it yesterday. Had a ball. Learning how to drive with the front locker was a little bit of a learning curve over the last few weeks. I feel fully comfortable after yesterday’s trip. Wow... whole new world of capability.

Too many trucks and mods to list.. check builds
Wiring diagram should give you the pin to look for, trace the wire then. Splice into it and boom.. kill switch
Shouldn’t hurt anything, we disable the pump for testing things all the time at work.

There was a write up on TTORA that used the blue power wire to the circuit opening relay that powers the fuel pump

OK, I went with the Amazon replacement part, which looks identical in about all respects to the OEM. OEM was in the 85+ range.

    https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B00C7Y3MW0/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

    latch old.jpg

The old OEM latch. To remove I used a pliers to snap the black plastic clips that retain the latching rod/linkcable ends.

    latch new.jpg

The new latch, not installed. Gently use a pliers to compress the end of the plastic clips that slip into the metal rotating part of the mechanism. Pull them up and out. You can not easily connect them to the rods otherwise. Snap them onto the end of the rod/link/cable and rotate so the end goes through. Then gently use the pliers to snap/push them down into the mechanism and seat them.

    latch new installed.jpg

The new latch, installed. About 10-20 minutes work.

It was on the warm side during the day (low 80s) but being at that elevation (11k ft +) it would get cool pretty quickly, not to mention the wind...which we didn't have too much of when we were up there.

Nighttime got pretty cold as you can imagine, not cold enough to freeze or snow but was probably in the low 40s or so.

I put those in with my All Pro Expo leafs (main eyes), they're great so far but it's only been a little over a month. I use lithium grease via a grease gun and it helps keep the main eye bushings from squeaking

That would work as well. Same concept. Kills the circuit.

    Just 3 tons of fun!!!
Another Mod Day in the 209.

We fitted @roguegs Tonneau cover around his RTT rack. @510to209Taco did his ECGS bushing. @CalTacoma09 installed bed stiffeners, replaced his battery terminals, and @foxrcing07 was able to diagnose his rear locker problem. We checked out @Sharkfrog projector headlights and think we nailed down the problem. @sd1uh8as stopped by to bring some TW express parts. And @Pella stopped by to say hi.

The only thing that was done to a 1st gen is I installed some 1.25 Spidertrax... that @sd1uh8as brought over for me.

New clutch in September 2017, heavy duty, aisin. Had to have it removed due to the defective clutch. I bought it through rock auto. Had pay for the part again, then credit when they received the original. Had to pay twice for repair. The second clutch is going bad again, it'll be less than 9 months since the second replaced. No one from rock auto will pay for the repair cost, AGAIN!
