Yeah, while we waited for our table we were having drinks at the bar outside under the grapevines and lights.

If you get a sled, I'd get the cheapest decent one you can. Can't tell you how many guys I know that have gone out and spent 6-15k on a new sled and then not ridden it once that winter because we didn't get snow, or their families had shit come up.

Snowmobiling is fun, but it's gotta make the least sense financially and time wise of ANY power sport that exists in this area. So get a decent used one from someone who bought new, realized they never have anytime to ride and are sick of paying $300 a month for the 3rd year.

This. And I feel like all my buddies who have or had sleds always had something wrong with it. I’ve never had one but I also don’t have an interest in one for basically your same reasons. Money and time vs fun/reward

Our 2nd anniversary today (gotta lot of work to catch up to @mach1man001 ). Gift didn't get through customs in time (nothing fancy, sticking to the cotton rule and under $50 so we don't waste too much money that needs to go to house building) and instead of posting on Tacoworld I should be making a nice handmade card to surprise her when she gets up any minute now...

    Off to art class! :fingerscrossed:

Then we will have a relaxing day after driving all weekend, then a nice dinner somewhere tonight in the area. Between Raleigh and Bermuda in the last three weeks we have had some good time to ourselves and some fancy outings. So we are ready to just sit on the couch together all day and maybe do hike if the rain quits.

    Yeah.... no worries there.

The joke is, if I bought a sled, it would never snow, and winters would be mild.

That alone would be worth it,.....

I grew up in them. Remember having to go to Canada, and Lincoln, ME to use them some winters.

I do not like the cold. At all. Especially the snow.

I am not buying a sled...

Great weather, so much more dealable, you know with a sweatshirt or coat.

Morning all! Nice to have some good 'outdoor work' weather this weekend! I was able to get a ton of stuff done around the house without making testicle stew for a change; it was great!

Yeah this weather is an improvement!

I wouldn't wish the addiction of snowmobiling on my worst enemy. It's a foolish and prohibitively expensive activity. But it sure is fun.

made the mistake of looking at a new one online... $15k++ is getting a little crazy for sleds. And they make the used market go up in price, so people are asking what they paid for new on couple year old sleds with 4k miles
