    Oooh u just NAS-T

The wheelbase is good for one thing. It’s rubbish anytime you need to go fast.

I have both a YJ and a Tacoma and wheel both. I can say that the Jeep has some better features and I pointed those out in my post however even with those benefits a Tacoma can still wheel with them quite easily. Even @BigMike ran the Rubicon twice with his.

The limiting factor for both is how much damage is someone willing to take. I'm more willing to damage my YJ than my truck at the end of the day so I can push it harder, that doesnt mean its necessarily more capable.

If a vehicle can offroad a trail like the Rubicon with a bunch of Jeeps, I can't conclude either is more effective than the other, they both succeeded.

No, I think your taking what I said to extremes lol. Extremes are cool, but that’s not me. I mean just a regular trail (subjective) and you send it around a loose turn at 30. Just 30. The Jeep is sketch, and may just tennis ball away in a cloud of dust, the Tacoma stays on.

I thought this was a Tacoma or Jeep fight? The raptor to me is irrelevant 360 degrees around. It’s the desert truck for people who don’t desert.

Jeep > Tacoma for off-roading. just be real don’t blow smoke and jive. Tacoma maybe close but it’s not a Jeep.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion.

Way more Jeeps broken on trails than Tacomas, two of them broke on Imogene...and thats just a mountain pass.

I wanted one only for the take the roof off aspect.. I was keeping my old truck so that took the "truck" element out of the equation but I knew eventually I'd end up trading the Jeep for a Mid Size truck when my S-10 finally did die. I also didn't want to deal with FCA reliability. I didn't want a first model year vehicle (2016 Tacoma) so I figured I'd bite the bullet and buy a 2015 exactly what I wanted I got (Of course I wish they made a maroon color in 2015!)

Except I actually own both vehicles and actually offroad both vehicles.

I know you wouldn't want to scratch your chrome.
