    I have the same issue with my Dakars. I trimmed until it stopped rubbing. Pretty sure thats what he will have to do. :sawzall:

    yeah 3 is the MAX for me, I'd like to keep it under that.

    I even shortly considered doing the chevy 63" swap, but there was too much unpredictability in how much lift you end up with. Plus, you're still running fewer thick leafs (stock style) rather than more thin ones like the Davers, Alcans, OME, etc...

    I believe the 1.5" for the Deavers is assuming a stock shackle, so a longer shackle like I'm planning could get you want to want.

    All our needs are so different, we end up compromising unless we go custom.

    A friend once took an engineering test still drunk. It was a machine shop class and it was all about micrometer measurements. He gets off the bus, hurls in the bushes, takes the test. Said he couldn't even focus on the questions or see clearly.

    I don't think he did too well on that test.
