Responsible for pelfreybilt going tits up? No. For them screwing the costumers? No. But for buying the pelfs time while some people lose the chance of getting a refund. Guilty, and smug about it.

That was me who said that. Given the nature of the circumstances, the context isn't open for us to share. Members can either choose to trust us when we say it, or not.

We will probably never know because they will never admit to wrong doing.
I agree things can change quickly but it's not overnight and instant, especially given they had a successful thing going on.

Responsible? No I don’t believe that. Unknowingly complicit and hostile to the victims? Yes. (I say unknowingly because I’m giving said person the benefit of the doubt)

I think greed played a big part of this. Pelfreybilt saw huge amounts of money pouring in and no way to deliver the products. Since they filed chapter 7 before they know what they are doing. They decided to take the money and abandon ship. Getting a lot of money in a short amount of time messes with your mind. What is one to do? Return $500k+ to everyone or pocket the money and file chapter 7??

People do unbelievable things when they receive that kind of money.

Yes, TW exists for one reason and that is to make money, I'm fine with that but lets not kid ourselves on the reason TW is here.

I believe @tcBob may not agree with that statement, considering that it's still privately owned and hasn't been sold off.

I'm referring to advertisements and such, like the ones for Amazon at the bottom of every thread, those do make money right?

You know bandwidth, hosting, etc. costs money right?

EDIT: I also don't see any ads on the bottom of this very thread you're posting in....

@PerfectTekniq s correct, I believe the money made from those ad's covers the cost of hosting the TW/4Runners/Tundras/Jeep sites.

Really though, I’ll need to do the same to complete my set. I only have to front skid from Pelfreybilt.

Lasernut does all of their manufacturing once Tyler works out the prototype and finalizes the production design.

Apparently Tyler used to work at Lasernut before he started Pelfreybilt.

Just what I've gleaned from reading this thread.

You guys should be good. My bumper, IFS and trans skids are all made by different vendors and bolt right up with no problems.

I’m considering my $5000 to be long gone but filed my dispute last week. I’ll be pushing for a lawsuit based on suspected fraud after I speak with a lawyer. If anyone is pursuing a legal route, let’s get organized. I paid my money two days before the “announcement “ and Satin herself encouraged me to pay cash. That’s all very suspect IMHO. Let’s not get this thread locked as this forum is how I keep up to date on this

People who are actually suggesting tcBob is running this + many other forums for profit are out of their mind. Lets not forget April Fools years back when he actually made it a joke and half of TW flipped their shit.

Damn I hate to hear things like this. Hope you get your money back. Taking your $5,000 two days before the announcement is not right.
