    Went thru Hugo here in Charleston and that was no fun! And left us with no power and I still cannot stand the smell of Pine-Sol! Yuck! hahahahaahahah

    I probably told this story last hurricane season

    while living on the barrier island of Deerfield Beach, FL in 1998 /1999 or so, the weather channel vans were stationed the next road over. we followed the evac orders, and GTF off the island........ I remember them saying that they lock the drawbridges up during a storm..... i never understood that. maybe so the boats can get through? what about the people that need to GTFO :facepalm:
