I assume if you can prove fraud then their chapter 7 could be rejected? Man that is some shit to do that when it was 48 hours out. I know that some are stating that the investors are true, but even so...you cant dismiss this sales tactic especially as how only they would have known the outcome to an unsuspecting customer.

Well, Wells Fargo says I'm fucked. Since i provided them with my account # and routing #, and signed an ACH authorization, it needs to be handled in court as a theft case. That's my only chance of getting anything. If i had paid via debit card, they would have been able to handle it via Visa.

I was pretty bummed about the whole situation before, but now I'm legitimately angry.

Lesson learned NEVER EVER FUCKING PAY VIA ACH, FOR ANYTHING!!! :censored:

Damn man this makes me salty for you. Hate to say it, but you are the first I have read so far stating that there is no good coming your way. If you had paid paypal, would you have had a second option?

Will do. You and I are in the same boat. I agreed to the ACH because of their reputation and the many conversations with Michael and Satin. Very expensive lesson learned and will make business harder for other small companies to do business.

    Just 3 tons of fun!!!
Bullshit... That's just plain, utter, bullshit.

Tariffs and gas taxes? Really? Ok, so does that mean that all the other fab shops in CA are going to go under and bone their customers? Lets check with BAMF or any one of 100 other shops.

Those other shops aren't going out of business and boning their customers because they know how to actually run a business instead of a ponzi scheme. Those other businesses aren't out there spending 60-70% over price rent so they can have a nice looking shop in the best area. Those other shops aren't using $70,000 of customers money to build them selves a trick Tundra... and those other shops don't have a track record of filing bankruptcy every time it's legally available to them like clock work.

Bottom line... The Pilferys are pond scum. No amount of excuses or blame shifting is going to change that 100% undeniable fact.

Probably. Paypal buyer protection seems to work in a similar way to visa/mastercard etc.

I know I always seek out PP as its a double redundancy with my bank for the possible fear of something like this although I would have never seen this coming if I bought something. I hope you get your day to give them a swift kick in the ass with some cash.

I buy everything with Amex. Any time I get screwed, they do a quick investigation and 10/10 times I get refunded. Sorry if this is a bit off point, but if anyone wants good buyer protection (and your honest about it) look towards Amex. (Insert non-affiliated promotional text here)

My only gripe with AMex is I have a company card with them and it sucks when companies wont accept it for a transaction. That is a great feature to have though.

The ONLY place my Amex wasn't accepted was in Ireland. I could tell shop owners were holding back chuckles.

Also why I've never looked into Amex. Everyone with a Visa transactions seems to be having good luck.

I happen to have two visa cards through WF, wish now i would have used one... I can live without the $1000, but man it sucks. That's half a rear bumper, a full front, or 1/5 of a GFC.

Lol I actually saw that someone was willing to help out. I can't remember the details... but I think it was something along the lines of a recently added vendor/new partnership with Pelfreybilt and this vendor who felt bad about it, so they were literally offering the armor off of their personal vehicles to anyone that got screwed over. Obviously that won't help everyone, but at least a few. I'll see if I can dig it up, but there's a ton of info floating around here.

I have had issues when I was on travel in the east coast over petty stuff like food places and random gas stations where I had to either bypass or pull out cash. Its not a huge deal especially when you use the card for purchases like this, but when I roll visa all the time it was a luxury I had to learn wasn't always available. AMEX does have a great budget/online system though.

TW should manage a donation fund for people who aren't able to get refunded.

I'm sure there's a bunch of members that will toss a couple bucks towards the people who got screwed.
