Unless you use TC's definition of LT then everything 11.5" travel and up is LT

For me LT starts at 16"

It's an option on the HH listing, it's about time I have a separate listing as several customers have added the cross tube after and I have been handling it through PayPal

I'm convinced the Hammer Hangers are a great upgrade.
@ARCHIVE Could I see a photo of the new 3.6 shackle mounted in the new hammer hanger? It looks like you modified the shape so the shackle can rotate a bit past horizontal without contacting the bottom edge of the hammer hanger. Did I get that correct?

I don't have any 3.6" in stock right now, but the real reason for the shape is the Dakar leaf packs, which were clearly designed after OME's Hilux springs, a totally different shackle arrangement (flipped).

Awesome hangers! If someone were to run these hangers, the 3.6 shackles and your special sauce @ARCHIVE deaver 4" lift springs, what length shock would be needed if in the stock mounting location?

Yes, I recommend stock or 3.6" shackles. The HH should increase droop somewhat but those look low arch, stock style, thick steel, so might max out around 10-11" travel. They look pretty good

Probably a shock appropriate for 4-6" lift
If you did the Archive shock relocation I'd recommend 14" Fox race shocks

Just ordered hammer hangers, cross tube, 3.6” fabbed shackles, and the allpro spacers.

    Thanks Eric!

    Can’t wait to install them!

A quick note on Dakar leaf packs. The picture of the older leaf packs with the Archive shackle flip shows how the secondary leaves stick out past the rear spring eye, longer than they need. ARB/OME Dakars originate in Australia where they have the Hilux. The Hilux has the same shackle arrangement as the Archive shackle flip as pictured, and you see how the longer secondary leaves are not an issue with this style shackle.

But their design is not great for use on the Tacoma using shackle in tension, as the secondary leaves stick into the stock shackle, it's frustrating to me because it is unnecessary. It leads me to believe OME just stuck the Hilux spring under the Tacoma way back and said "Crikey! It fits".

On the next batch, I have made a revision, and I don't think there will be that catching issue that was happening on earlier kits with the tab, but be aware if it does happen, you have the option to trim that offending leaf back about 1/2" to 1".

Hopefully you can understand how challenging it is to make a product that works with so many different leaf packs out for the Tacoma, short, long, std eye, english eye, spring clips with huge gaps so leaves fan out, etc. It's a lot to work around.

Free Hammer hangers drawing list for buyers in the next batch, I like giving 1 away per batch. (no one was skipped, last batch had their chance at the last drawing)

I will select 1 buyer in the next 26 kits to get their Hammer hanger portion of their order Free ($360 credit, so options are not included).
Winner selected at random. You are automatically entered by placing an order for the Hammer hangers until batch is sold out. Pretty decent odds at 1 in 26. Prior sales excluded.
