haha, ya idk how that works at all. But I literally use my Amex for everything and if they don't accept I have Visa and Mastercard on standby. And if they don't accept those, then I'm too broke to buy.

Im not joking when I say this...if someone wants to collaborate with the mods and make an official list of the guys and the money needed I would gladly donate a few bucks for my fellow brotheren. I know how much it sucks to spend money on something to realize you could have done so many other things then just simply lose it to some people such as pelfrey.

It's against TW policy. Tried to do this for someone who lost a family member during Christmas last year and got scolded for it. I ended up messaging a few members and still got a good chunk together for an amazing surprise. But you may need to find other outlets to make that happen.

At this point, I'm looking at a CBI setup. My shop sells their product and I would feel safer giving my shop money at this point. Unfortunately, I just lost my "armor savings" so not sure at this point.

yeah, it was for 4th gen T4R rear bumpers. They were willing to give the two personally owned bumpers off their "company" rigs.

    Very, very generous of them.

You know. I never bought anything from them and am not out any money... but their Facebook post pisses me off.
They made very poor business decisions that led to very poor personal decisions and then they take to Facebook to post a pitty party about themselves.

It’s never a good idea to build a business on debt. They let that get under control file bankruptcy and then ask their customers they screwed over for mercy and forgiveness. WTF?

They lose everything but they thousands they lost their customers on major orders is apparently just fucking peanuts.

I’m really sorry to people who have cash tied up in this. I hope everyone gets whats owed to them.

Yeah, and I thought "how cool the owner is contacting me personally, such a great company!"

I know a lot of people here say wonderful things about Tyler and Satin, but my experience now is that they are very low indeed. People change and money effects good decision making.

Well, I'll be damned.....my money is back in my bank account. That's completely unexpected!! My credit union pulled through I guess. I'm literally a little shocked right now. I truly hope others get so lucky, I really did not expect this.

That was an ACH through my credit union and they told me "it's unlikely you'll ever see that again". If you haven't already, dispute your charges and cross your fingers, things might work out. Now, time to research CBI bumpers....I see there are many threads, thanks TW!

I lost track thousands of dollars ago.
I've been trying to stay out of this thread and i just finished reading all 76 pages :sorry: to everyone involved.

We don't build bumpers (as of right now)

This whole ordeal is shitty to say the least and I'l keep my options to myself on the matter.

That said anyone that didn't get refunded on any product we manufacture as well we will offer a 20% discount on that product so really only sliders and skid plates that i know of. I know it's not much but were willing to help out as much as we can without taking a loss TW made my company what it is today and I'll give back when I can.

lmao I'm not making excuses for pelfreys nor am I on their side at all. Relax dude. I was just doing a back and fort with mobtown about little things that make life a little more difficult for small business owners. I am in no way shape or form saying, "please understand the pelfreys had a slight hiccup, don't be upset everyone". So take a chill pill and redirect your anger to the pelfreys. Not everyone that talks about how small business can be difficult at times (which it is) is siding or making excuses for Pelfrey. People were simply starting to spread mistrust in small fabricators, which if you look at an earlier post I even discussed. I do not feel sorry for the pelfreys at all but I do feel sorry for current honest fabricators that will have to deal with this fallout as there is now a lot of mistrust going on. I even discussed how I have a current order pending and I am now counting down the days and want to pester the shop because who can we trust???? Read my post at Ch. 7 Bankruptcy Filed 9/6/18 where I was replying to mobtown's reply to a person who was trying to lump all fabricators as potential sneaky scam artists.

I'm not sure how you misread my original post but what I WAS saying is that SMART business owners (NOT pelfreybilt) can manage small punches like gas tax or tarriffs by quickly making adjustments like you yourself stated could be as simple as moving to a new cheaper location. Sometimes it adds extra stress for a week or so but it's always manageable if you know what you're doing and are dedicated to fixing the problem. From conjecture, it readily appears pelfrey did none of these things and continued trucking on taking new orders, not finishing current ones, or even communicating. Who knows if they ever even wanted to fix their issues, could've just been a scam from the get go.

I really don't know how you read my original post, I literally said pelfreybilt did not put the customers first and because of their piss poor planning (or even just a scam) they ended up where they are. Alas I am not on the side you are against. BUT if you are simply angry and looking for an argument I am sure if we continue talking we can find something to argue about (politics/religion/palestine&israel/middle east/toilet paper over or under, etc).

edit: tl;dr (but not really) not making excuses for pelfrey or on pelfreys side at all, but their downfall is going to create mistrust in fabricators everywhere that if you read through all 77 pages you will see it spreading. Even mobtown/bamf/cbi will feel these effects because people will no longer trust lead times, paying up front, and they will flip shit when item is completed one day past original promise date which could be due to having trouble finding raw material due to tariffs. Everyone, and I mean everyone, will suffer someway somehow from pelfreybilts f up(even someone selling something for 20 bucks off B/S/T)

I'm suggesting the TW administration setup and manage this. Not some random member with a gofundme. Given the situation, I think that would be an appropriate approach.

This is how you customer service.

I am not looking for handouts by any means, and your offer @JLee is extremely generous. I just hope people can learn from this whole debacle and not end up in the same boat.

Boeing Employees Credit Union up here in Seattle area. Usually, they do not impress, but today I'll be bringing them donuts or something. I'm hoping others are as lucky, I saved for 8 months to get that $5k for armor and have been talking about it non-stop. I worked hard for that and a lot of others have as well. I hope we never run into the Pelfrey's on the trail or at an event, my wife will kick some butt....she's got 4 years of Krav Maga training and a lot of pent up anger.
