Hey, fellow veterans, it's now possible to shop at your exchange!

    https://www.shopmyexchange.com/

This was always possible for current active duty and retired, but for those of us that didn't fit in either class, it was nada. They opened it up not too long ago, so I registered today, and snooped around at some electronics. Better prices than Amazon on what I checked out, and no taxes!

Trust me, I want nothing more. Problem is the truck is at 300k, over the last 100k, I've spent about $2000 in acquiring and upkeep. Which is nothing.... I have a list of Maintenance items that I need to tackle before I spend a single dime towards a build.

    Thank ya'll!

What you taking 'bout? That IS a custom paint job already....

Thanks man it was total impulse lol, I saw the ad like 10 minutes after it posted and then texted the guy. He was really cool and just moved back to ATX from Denver. That is where he picked this shell up. It's nice! Has LED lighting already with a switch, yakima rails that you can add pretty much any crossbars to(He had a RTT on it), sliding side windows with screens, carpeted. It was like too good to be true and Pam was out of town so there was no one to talk me out of it! Except @Misplaced Nebraskan he helped mount the bish!

Now I need to focus on getting everything else right and tight.

Yeah I live in Dickinson so I'm pretty close to Galveston and familiar with where it floods and doesn't when it rains a lot. Mainly it will flood if theres a stalled rain storm and then drain pretty quickly afterwards.

Same here just south a little ways the rain was terrible leaving. If we had stayed another hour of 2 we may have been stuck on the island.
    My vote is #1
