Is there a mod that disables the constant beeping while in 4Low?

    Asking for a friend.

Put it in neutral, engage 4 Low, problem solved.

If its flashing or beeping it's not engaged.

Check the drivers sunvisor for full operation instructions.

I dont get any beeping when in 4lo. Like others have mentioned, if you havent engaged it properly, it will beep.

Make sure you're in park or neutral when engaging 4lo.

Unless something is wrong, it should not be beeping if in 4low. Make sure you put it in neutral, then switch to 4low.

Mine wouldn't engage once. I dont engage unless needed.
    Was on an incline.
    Wouldn't engage.

Got to the top of the hill... did it again.... no problem. Only time it happened so far.

sometimes you have to scooch forward or backwards a little bit so that the parts line up and it can lock, like a car with an unsynchro'd first/reverse.

Like @STexaslovestacos said, 4Lo can be finicky at times to engage. For instance, the manual says that we can be moving 2mph. That is just not true for my Taco. I have to be completely stopped, which can be a bit ridiculous in some spots where that starting momentum is important.

You will want to try engaging 4Lo a few times before you really need it, like on a straight street in your neighborhood. The same with the other TRAC features so that you are not needlessly punching the TCS Off button or hearing random beeping.

If you had an OR, I'd say the same about testing CC, MTS, and the eLocker.

Mine goes in 4Lo pretty easily most times but sometimes can be a little finicky on disengagement.

To confirm for everyone... If the 4x4 logo or 4LO logos are flashing the system is NOT engaged.

Furthermore, if it is beeping when you go to 4LO the system did not engage. The beeping will stop and both 4x4 and the 4LO lights will turn on when it's ready and working.

You must be in neutral to go to 4LO on 2nd gen's, auto tranny. The information card in your driver's seat visor has all the information you need.

    this and that...
logistical stand point; 4lo or 4low?

anyhow. gotta be a complete stop when you change over. 4hi you can actually engage on the fly up to 60mph. perfect for 1/4mi runs or if you gotta blast off from a dig...cause you know. lol
