Some homes were raised but I imagine the cost was so high that most of the population couldn't afford to do it for themselves and the city probably couldn't focus on recovery as well as raising the island.

Not yet figure I get to leave work early so it can’t be that bad..How about yourself?

 

I saw someone mention a potential for a trail clean-up day out at Bastrop. I'm interested in going even if it's just a few people and not an "TTC official" thing. I have been wanting to go out there and check out those trails soon.

 

Have to call in by 5:00pm tommorow to check if I have to be there Wednesday. I’m going fishing in the morning

That sucks. I can log on to the web the night before or call to check if I'm still needed. 2 of the past 3 I have been told I was no longer needed. The last one I showed up started watching a video and then they stopped it and sent everyone home.

 

Heck, takes me 45 minutes to get to the court house.

 

I’ll take a double look at it tomorrow either way I’m still gonna leave early.

I sat once. Some lady ran a stop sign, turned right, and a guy rear ended her. “Someone” went back and spray painted the sign so it wasn’t visible, but the guy had photos from all angles (showing the sign and two cars wrecked.
