:help: Help me try to understand something here guys, the past few days, especially today actually, I pass up these built-up rigs with rotopax setups, roof light bar, shovels, RTT, etc etc etc, but NOT A HINT of dirt/pin striping??? I mean, these things look like they were just bought off the lot, spent all that money on the extra gear, and sparkly as hell!!! :confused:o_O I pass like 3x of these setups within like 30min of each other??? Is it just a "cool factor" thing now??? o_O:notsure: Some people just like the look, I sorrrrrrrrrrt of understand that, but to be an all out wannabe just amazes me at the same time? I mean, I guess it IS their money and they can do what they want with it, but it is the show boating and what not at the same time??? :notsure: I'm just simply wanting to know if this is some new fad of some kind to "look cool"??? :notsure::confused:

HAHAHAHAHAHA, I need to put up that damn 9ft whip antenna damn it!!!:laugh::rofl::rofl::rofl:

@sdsurfer brotha Dirk, I haven't forgotten about you and your radio. I downloaded the *.pdf file for it, but was moving at the same time. Now, I'm somewhat established at/in my new room/apt and will start typing up what to do, if you have not already connected to a repeater? Pretty easy... well, sometimes it can be a bit challenging, but nothing all that hard.

My psychological analysis. People have fantasies where they imagine what their trucks are capable of. They watch youtube and IG of guys who use their vehicles, then substitute themselves in the driver's seat. Basically, their trucks can do exactly what they are watching since they have similar products and they are satisfied with the capabilities without ever having to prove themselves and risk damage.

Picked up my freshly rebuilt 3rd that had a chipped R&P today. Now it is basically putting the big legos together. Put together rear axle, drop in motor, and mate the trans and tcase to the engine. Just not sure if I want to holesaw the trans tunnel for the twin sticks, or sawzall the thing and put something together for that area.

So, when someone is having a pucker factor moment, then they are as well??? Reminds me of those rides that you're watching the screen and they tilt/move as the film does and it almost makes you feel like you are actually there?!

With that said, does their steering wheel "vibrate" when something happens like they hit a rock or something??? :notsure::confused::laughing::laugh::rofl::rofl::rofl::D:p

No. The dildo attached to a sawzall in their asshole is what vibrates.

And I have had somebody yell at me before because they thought I was gonna flip my stock 1st gen tacoma.

You're not gonna be able to make it to San G??? I can only do the day trip Saturday, but that is actually pending due to recent events in the fam.

Anyways, I'm gonna try to be there for a run. I might bring my sister to cruise along on a trail. Want to do an easy/moderate trail just so she can experience the off-roading stuff.
