Thanks. Just saw this. Was reading the comments. Wow. Kind of like the snorkle GB I was in. Damn shame. I really enjoyed dealing with them. Their products were first class. Got too big too fast I guess.

Too big and I think they started tossing money at new toys and such. Not a good way to deal with this as now people will bash them for acting like a baby

Funny man I was just there during labor day. Pretty cool spot...wished I had brought out the taco instead of the girls X, but was a good time none the less.

Always take the Taco when driving off the pavement is involved. We spent all day there for the most part 8am park and packed up at 5pm which was 2 hours before high tide. Not a good idea to wait that long but it just meant a little riding on the otherside of the dunes to avoid the ocean water

Huge crackdown this year on any LED lights and aftermarket lamps. Also seems there has been an increase in the crackdown rate on the "friendly" inspectors as I have been seeing more and more shops all over the state losing there certifications. VA is trying to eliminate the light bar and other "illegal" forms of automotive lighting all together.

Funny thing is, it seems the start of the huge push to eliminate offroad type lighting is from the VA beach area and working it's way west.

Absolutely! I just had mine inspected at the dealer. They are checking to make sure even your reverse lights and sruff are oem. They had me cover my pod lights with 2 layers af black duct tape then they passed

Yea the gas and stuff is why I opted against the taco and I had never been there before. We didn't get out there till 5pm to go cruising, but hitting the soft stuff can be fun as long as you air down which is standard procedure for us anyway. Do you guys go out there often?

I did to but I wasn’t going to argue with them. My thougjts were to just do what they said needed to be done and don’t argue. I went in a couple of weeks prior and talked to the service manager and an inspector. The inspector told me what issues to take care of and I complied

Times like this it pays that I got a buddy I see a few blocks away from my apartment. Mine could be passable, but just don't want to go swapping all that shit out for a 20 min inspection. Will be good when I peace this state.

    Intake, exhaust, lift. Typical stuff.
I think Star Motors still fudges state inspections. They're down in Suffolk.

I agree, air down is the key. I was down to 14 and couldn't get stuck. Seen 3 vehicles stuck about 2 miles up the beach right next to each other and they all were just now letting out air. We use to go about 6 times a year before they started charging to park and this year we have went twice, once the weekend before and last weekend. May head down next weekend so see how bad it looks down there and lend a hand if needed

I surely wouldn't have complained either. Do it and make it pass. Lol

You might try the place next to the animal hospital on Independence right across from where Baxter intersects Independence and crosses over to South Blvd. I didn't even bother to take off my amber Lamin-X film off of the fogs the last two years but they did catch the fog light anytime mod so I had to fix that.
