Installed my rigid SR40 and new light bar wind deflector last night. Need a new TTC sticker to put up there and take off the windshield one!

As we rise this morning the nation takes a moment of pause to honor the loss of innocent lives and first responders in an attack on our nation 17 years ago, please think on this. Immediately after the attacks, we became one people. Not a people divided by so many different labels or political beliefs, we remembered that above all else we were Americans. We have in many ways, portrayed in social media, become so divided, I fear we have forgotten what we were and remain, Americans. A people united, to form a more perfect union, who with all of our faults and opinions, will always be part of this great nation. Feel sorrow for those lost on this day 17 years ago, but reflect on that feeling we found, one people, one nation, indivisible.

May the memory of those lost be forever eternal.

 

Yep, that place blew up in the past 5 years. I live out at Canyon Lake and remember there was nothing out there 10 years ago.

In other news, waking up at 8am to hear a professor babble about how evolution is a hoax is beginning to become more and more difficult

 

I had a prof who rebutted a speech I gave on the federal budget deficit, by saying, "we could pay it off tomorrow, if we wanted to". I followed him back to his office afterwards, and asked him why he said something as moronic as that. He told me he was "just trying to stir up a discussion". I told him he had just misinformed a whole room full of voters.

Considering how few people actually vote, we were probably both wrong...

 

Time is closing in, I'll get on it this weekend.
