@Star-Lord and @thefatkid 1st gen tundra, was there a difference in axle width from single cab to double cab or abs and non abs? One 66” and other 68” LT guys are trying to figure it out. Figure I ask you guys.

No clue, never looked or thought of measuring it out. The ABS with or without makes no difference.

I remember this like yesterday. “We’re going to war! Get back to the ship!” A bunch of drunken Marines in Darwin Australia. Took head count and sailed to the gulf.

All my buddies at Lejeune are about to die in that hurricane. Making the single dudes stay at the barracks, which were built in the 60's and flood during a thunderstorm

Oh yeah I have no doubt it will be a good party. The PX had to stop selling alcohol since they were getting bought out. There were a lot of guys from Florida in my company so they are experts at hurricane parties.

That are built out of center blocks and concrete. They will be fine. They all going to be drunk, naked and running around in ponchos :anonymous:

    Dog, camper.
Flex Tape family of "As Seen On TV" crap revue...
Trying to re-seal the vinyl/canvas around the base of the camper, it was pulling away slightly, corners only. I wanted to seal the entire perimeter though, so thought I would try some of this miracle stuff.
First I tried the stuff called Flex Shot.
basically clear silicone in a pressurized can.
Flows easy, settles nice in the voids, and is easily spread with a finger.
But it doesn't stick to shit. Didn't stick to the aluminum vinyl clad trim.
It did stick pretty good to the canvas, but still peeled away with out to much effort.
Don't waste the money on it. Really no better than aquarium grade silicone imo. And 4 times the cost.

Also tried the flag ship product Flex Tape. mainly wanting to seal up those corners.
Stuff sticks really well to the canvas, I mean real well. I'll keep a roll in the camper just in case i get a hole or tear, I feel pretty confident it will do well in that area. It's fairly flexible and pliable too.
But still didn't want to stick to the vinyl clad aluminum. Fail.

So now I'm on to the Flex Glue. Using it like caulk basically. Stuff reminds me of tubes of DAP, hard as fuck to squeeze out, you get about 5 minutes to tool it then it wants to grab everything and looks like shit. I have slightly higher hopes for this stuff. Just running a thin bead and smoothing it with a finger, seems to have way more stickum to it.
But the tube is a total piece of shit. Just about finished the job, dropped the tube, no biggie, until I realized the tip at the base of the threads broke. Fuck, gonna be a bitch to finish the remaining 4 feet of area, right above the cab of course.
I used some of the Flex Tape to seal the crack in the tube, maybe it will let me finish the job.

I'll report back tomorrow if this stuff worked or not.
    :fingerscrossed:

If not, I'll try the RV stores and see what they recommend, prolly should have done that first, but that's not how I roll. :burp:

I played a football game in a Hurricane at Ft Eustis, Only way you could breathe was to look straight at the ground to keep the deluge out of your piehole.

Then we got flooded onto base (I was there for a QC school) for like the next 10 days, then the shit really hit the fan when we finally got lose outside the base.
