    When you did your DIY swingout, did you add that to a bumper, or just mount it to the bed somehow where the tailgate is? I'm thinking of trying to add a swingout to my rear bumper, and am looking for ideas/inspiration/direction.

    Sweet truck btw!

    Thank you! I mounted it to the bed, where the locking mechanism was for the tailgate. I also used the pivot point which I removed from the tailgate and welded to the swingout mount. With all of this said, I ultimately removed it and reinstalled the tailgate. It was a fun project, but I was getting too much water intrusion and needed my centerline back up cam for towing. I think a bumper/swingout would be the way to go. All the best to you on your project!
