I have a 2016 TRD Sport 4x4 AT and need an LSD for the rear. I am specifically looking for the Detroit TrueTrac from Eaton. I called them and they said they don't make one for 3rd gens. Shouldn't they all be universal though? I didn't think they changed the rear diff from 2015 to 2016.

Does anyone have experience with this and have the part number of the diff they used in theirs?

First step is to find what diff you have. Look at your door jamb sticker and use this guide to figure it out.

I think yours should be A07A.

I'm guessing he would have A07A using your Chart.

Do third gens come with a different ratio than second gens? That's pretty nice.

last i checked Eaton was still not making one for the MT size 8.75". iirc there was one for the AT's 8" diff. is there one for the 8.75 now? cus that's whats standing between me and FI power.

Thanks for the information! So, that would mean I need part number 913A610. They list that as fitting "1986 - 2009 Toyota Truck." Did they make a change to the differential for 2010? I just don't want to buy the thing, tear my truck apart, then find out that it's the wrong one.

Yes, I'm aware of the MT diff change, but this tread is about the AT diff. That diff I listed the part number for is an 8" diff.

In addition to your info the Off Road and Pro also have the 8.75 even with Automatic, in what you were saying the Sport and SR also got the bigger rear if equipped with a Manual Trans

last i checked, about a year ago, correct, there was still no Eaton for the 8.75. but after a year it may be a good time to check Eaton's product line.
