The 2.7L Single Cab Thread

Yea its more of a time deal. I spend my little time at home running non stop. Maybe once I get bored and have some time to kill. Definitely be seeking advice when I do lol.

 

I have trimmed +2 fiberglass and it has 4:88s. Plus I completely relocated the cab mount.

 

Does anyone have a Barcelona Red grill they want to sell me or trade straight across for a base level grey one?

 

Saw this for sale in Long Beach Ca.

 

Do we have TRAC? Not ATRAC, I know that, but just TRAC. I believe all non TRDOR models are supposed to have it, but my truck does not seem to. The only lights I can get to show on my truck are these. Pushing or pushing and holding the VSC button.

 

Any more info on this? I would love to know more about the v6 power transplant

I asked him some questions. He said you need the engine and transmission, new motor mounts, custom driveshaft, the ecu, and the whole wiring harness. Plus some miscellaneous goodies like the power steering bottle is different and things like that.

 

Hey y’all been a while. Got a question. Once this set of tires I got wear down (265/75r16 Nitto terra grapplers) I’m looking to get some aftermarket wheels something around a 18x10 or 12. Anyone have any experience running a 12 wide on a 4 banger truck?

I know the total chaos LT truck is a v6 single cab too. Just so much work for a v6. Takes a pure Toyota person to not go LS.

I've been thinking of that for awhile. Why spend 5k on a supercharger for 240hp when there are LS motors laying around everywhere! lol

 

No, too much work for not that much more power. My truck does fine with the 4:88s. I’d put a urd supercharger on if it was Ca smog legal though.

 

because I may have a V6 wiring harness with only 1 or 2 plugs cut off, other than that it should be complete

Labors of love are often fraught with hassle....................I would love to buy that gray one vs scoring a suitable donor to turn mine into that tho.
