Appreciate your interest, however your quoting the wrong product. This thread is for Fend-X Wheel Liners, you pulled a quote from our description listed under PROTEC Splash Guards. Two different products, made from two entirely different materials for two completely different applications.

Thank you for the Q, this is a FAQ.

The Fend-x liners are shaped to lay up/ recess inside the wheelwells. Based on the trucks configuration: you will need to lay in the wheel liner/ mark your spot with paint pen ect./ remove and drill your mounting points that suit your fender/ flare/ bumper setup. (Realistically, 4-5 mounting points per side in strategic spots will lock the liner in place. I'll be providing many tips/suggestions with each order to aid with the installation)

In other words, due to the counterparts of the wheel Liner (stock/ aftermarket/ DIY versus fenders/ flares/ bumpers) the mounting points would look like a constellation if I designed a "universal" set. So rather than that, it's more like a "blank" wheelwell canvas with the Fend-X logo machined along the fender edge.

I appreciate your patience during the process! Call in tomorrow/ whenever during biz hours with Order# so I can give you the most accurate ship date! (This applies for anyone with outstanding pre-orders)

You are correct, the projected shipping commencement was between August 12-18. Based on other moving parts: such as suppliers and ongoing sales of PROTEC splash guards, this has slightly shifted the inital Fend-X shipping forecast 1 and half to 2 weeks.

To fix this dilemma, last week I decided to pause all future sales of the PROTEC splash guards & Fend-X liners until further notice. Since last week the website has been Out-of-stock. This meant first having to get all other product orders fulfilled to shift 100% focus on Fend-x liners. Rest assured, Gear Tech Customs will deliver. hang tight

    Not yet, stay tuned Matt!

If I understand correctly, my order will be shipped out from your location in 1.5 to 2 weeks?

Damn, didn't know it got pushed back as such because I was really anticipating on receiving it and installing it any day now. I put on 33.4" tires about 3 weeks ago and had to trim the stock liners. I was thinking I'd have them on by now from the last update I got seeing that we're about to get hit by Lane. I work at a hotel and I still have to drive there to help evacuate our guests to shelter, if needed. We are expecting to have some heavy downpour, flooding, high winds, etc., and was hoping to get these liners on for peace of mind since mine have already been trimmed for quite some time now. Yes, seam sealer and rubberized undercoating have been applied onto the flattened pinch weld, but I've read horror stories of some still experiencing leaks through openings with that area still exposed.

I understand your pov, its raises another logistics factor which I've been monitoring. About 75% of all pre-orders are trekking to either Cali or Hawaii, and both states are currently experiencing some level of service disruptions from USPS, FedEx and UPS carriers due to extreme weather.
