So basically don't even consider SAS unless it's a trailer queen and/or I run at least 37s? I always wanted to run SAS with 35s to be DDable but still have good articulation.

By the way you are talking, you need lower gears not bigger tars.

Everything you're saying is screaming crawler. You'll be $1500 to $2k all said and done into one with 4.7's. The difference is massive like @slander said.

You can but that doesn't mean you should. I personally wouldn't chop off first gen IFS for anything less than 37's. Obviously a little different story if it's in need of maintenance/repair (LBJ's, LCA's, blown diff, etc...)

I'm also the one that ran 35s on ifs pretty successfully and was only going to SAS for 40s

on another note, I aired down a teeny bit for dirt devil, (25 front, 20 rear), and I think I'm gonna leave it that way for putzing around Nashville. Truck rides a helluva lot better on these shitty roads around here when these E rated tires are aired down some. MPGs be damned.

TRD Off Road sticker. Not the whole package, just the sticker.
He says it like 35's just fit right on his truck without a lot of cutting.

Wish I could like this twice. Haha

I’ll play, topless Tuesday! Haha my project that I’ve been working on. My Tacoma has become a parts runner.

Yep started blowing white smoke and bubbling in the radiator. No milky oil so that’s a plus.
