I just checked out the gym near me and it's fucking $90 a month!! $180 if both the wife and I did it. Holy fuck sticks that's a lot.

edit: just found a much more reasonably priced place. Sport Rock is $70 a month and an additional $35 to add my wife as well. I'm ok with that.

There is one of those somewhat close. The one down the street is earth treks. I guess they have a regular lifting area too, I’m guessing it isn’t big but it would be nice to have he option haha

So I was just updated from my buddy. Non essential personal are allowed to evacuate but there are no actual order saying to leave. You can leave or stay it is up to you. Except essential personnel they have to stay.

 

So, looks like nothing has changed in the year since I left.

 

haha yeah. When I was there and there were hurricanes we literally had to stay and had a platoon on standby with PPE (flak and kevlar for those that arent tracking) and pre dug sandbags and boards n shit to take care of the barracks. It almost always devolved into a barracks party and everyone getting trashed...

I went outdoor climbing a couple times back in college with the Climbing/Bouldering club. It was fun, but I never really got into it.
