RZR RS1 is a badass for a single seater.

Be glad your walmart is open. A lot here are fretting because they closed at midnight and won't open til we don't know when? I am telling you. They are going nuts here..............

 

Greenwood Walmart was full of water. Must be restocking cause I know @EricL said they were low at lunch.

 

I hit up the one over near Emerald Rd on my lunch break since its only 10 mins from work. All they had was Aquafina, so I got a couple of cases of that.

 

Ahhh i went to shit show here by the apt. Figured didn’t rain all day while I was pouring concrete. Bring the truck outta the garage to run errands....downpours. Fml

 

I try to avoid that one if I can, even though its on the way home from work. It gets crazy busy in there. The one near Emerald also seems to have stuff in stock more often than the other.

Spoke with my friend- the same one that wrote the email excerpt I posted the other day; (he leads functional areas in a remote sensing/GIS company):

Emergency officials are preparing for the possibility of a 1,000 year flood event for areas east of I-95. Satellites are being repositioned for this storm (remote sensing). A thousand year flood event means that in any given year, there is a .1% of it happening.

 

We'll see what happens. This time yesterday, the storm was going north through Raleigh, Roanoke and beyond.

Now, looks to stall even more, while slowly moving south along SC coast, then directly west to the mountains.

 

@JimBeam appears you may have been correct yesterday- about the storm possibly turning to SC.

Please let us know if you learn anything from your resources.

 

The Westerly track they showed is straight torward me. I'm actually more North than Wilmington.

My scouting leadership class this weekend in the mtns still has not been cancelled, lol...

 

They've already started announcing early dismissal and closures here for Thurs and Fri. These are school systems a decent distance from the coast too.
