My tacoma went to Yosemite National Park

I went on a trip with my girlfriend to yosemite and Sequoia National parks last week, just want to share some pics I took of my tacoma over there. Really nice place. The tallest water fall in the US.
What do you guys think?

Looks so cool. How was there still that much snow though. Or were you up in the mountains.

Just up in the mountains by glacier point around 7500 ft, the valley was cool. We camped at around 6000 ft. It was kinda cold.

 

Awesome man! I plan on doing the same once I get some funds saved up and some proper expedition equipment I'd installed on the Tacoma.

 

You don't need that much, just a lot of gas, and willing to sleep in the forest.

U bet, I think Yellowstone is next!! Long drive from SoCal though.

 

Love the outdoors. Looks beautiful. Is there bathrooms at that site?? And can you reserve or first come first serve?

Very nice, I will be up there in the beginning of August. As for the campgrounds, you have to reserve them in March when they open up online, they sell out for the season in a day, crazy. Still some snow, cool, you can still snowboard at Mammoth, they should be open till the 4th, seeing how you can see Yosemite from the backside of Mammoth I would expect the snow to hang around a little longer.

I will be doing half dome, it has been about 8 years since the last time I did that hike. Can't wait

 

There is a couple of first come first serve campgrounds at Yosemite valley, I wouldn't recommend those. The better ones are by reservation only, more secluded, bigger campsites and cleaner but like 6 or 8 months in advance though. No bathrooms, at the campgrounds. I think you can pay for a shower at the valley, I didn't take one . But we stayed one night in a hotel at fresno so I took like 3 showers there.
