Where are you guys located? If you're in the Northeast, I still have my stock buckets for sale (I will sell them cheaply to someone here, just so they can get out of my basement).

    285 KM2s

35psi front, 31 psi rear. Chalk test next week.

Quiet, beefy, slightly floaty, soaks up small road crack type bumps nicely. Feels good at speed. Definitely notice a power loss, gotta wind out the gears a little more and braking distance has increased.

So far, static flexing lock to lock no rubbing. No CMC done, some plastic trimmed.

These required less weight to balance than my 265s had on them.

Compared to 265s with 4/32" remaining

I got my bucket seats shipped one time. If you can get em for like $250/shipped, it’s a good deal. Shipping isn’t as bad as you think it is. Get it priced.

Quick question for those with the 12-15 models. When you turn your lights to drl do they come on? My dad has a ‘13 a swears that the do ,but I didn’t think the single cabs had that option.

Edit: Wired in fog lights for him and now he thinks I messed something up because they don’t come on.

They don't have that option. They're either switched on or off.

So on your light switch when you twist it to drl they will not come on? Only when you switch it to the 3rd position which is everything but headlights and then your 4th spot which is everything on?

First switch is parking lights, second is lights on, no third position.

Here are the light options. Drl...no lights come on. And he swore the inside marker lights came on.

As it sits in the pics I went lock to lock and had no rubbing. Obviously that is static, and doesn't reflect real off roading. Driving around this afternoon I also had no rubbing.

Keep in mind I also have 3.5° caster so that helps a lot.

That's a little harsh man. Everyone's trucks are different and I never claimed I did not need it.

I just posted my experiences. When I take it off road I'll report back. I just tested it the best I could on the farm and had no rubbing. Static lock to lock without putting a whole lot of stress on the suspension. I also have stock offset which may or may not improve my situation?

You hear all kinds of mall crawlers saying they don't rub, and they don't, because they don't articulate their trucks. I see more dirt in my driveway than they'll see in their lifetime.

If someone buys tires based off of my one post without further researching the setup, then they deserve to cut up their trucks and go through that hassle.

Idk man, I'm not trying to argue with you. I'll come back and tell you exactly how much I rub after this hurricane is over and I can go off road without a bathing suit.

I only chopped a small amount of the cab mount for 285s. Offset plays a huge roll where you rub.

All that clearing and you still rub means you didn’t clearance right. I had 35s with just stock cut fenders, CMC and beat the pinch weld. I cleared em lock to lock at full stuff.

You may have done a lot of work but if you still rub with 285s then you ain’t doing the right work lol.

Don’t jump the guy so much.

I was honestly very very surprised when I had none.

I am also surprised to see a spot on both of the LCA that has no paint. Looks like tire rubbing but at full lock it's still quite a ways away and I hear nothing. I'll have to get some more pics.

My DRL's don't come on unless the truck is running.

His still won’t come on with the truck running unless you have the headlights on or the taillights/drl/marker lights.
