Island evacuation 8 am Tuesday. We just got notice from realtor / rental agency.

 

Yep outer banks the same evac time

 

Brunswick county is under an evac notice. New Hanover county is in a state of emergency and the EOC is setup.

 

Made it back to Virginia, left Topsail at 7:30 am, traffic was normal. You who are staying in Wilmington area stay safe and my family will pray for yours. Keep us updated if you can.

 

been doing storm prep at work. Boarding Windows, cramming cars in the shop, moving stuff off floor.

 

I’m actually bailing tonight with the clients to avoid traffic. I’ll be back as soon as the storm passes, if flooding allows

You going to bail now too? I would it seems like the path keeps getting predicted up closer to y'all.

 

Mom and dad went down to our family's place in Sneads Ferry Sun and prepped it and took some momentos home with them that are from the original place when my grampa owned it. Sadly they didn't bring the one chair that meant a lot to me. I really hope the place doesn't get completely destroyed or that chair doesn't get swept away. The beach house was special for me and Gramps and we've already lost a lot of momentos from previous storms.


Y'all that live down there need to be careful and not risk it if you need a place I've got a couch floor space and a bunch of sleeping bags and blankets you're more than welcome to come stay at my apartment to ride it out. It may not be the most ideal but safer than down there it seems.

 

Nope I'm staying, I'm the back bone of the family business, my buddy Jason who shares the back with me is actually staying at the shop (have pimp middle room) I'll load him up with charged up laptops and movies, and he will be good he also will be ready if some peeps want to loot

 

Be safe man. Keep y'all in my thoughts as this thing makes landfall.

 

This one I'm not going lie, it's got me worried. Also have allot of people that are staying that I'm close to, that I need to keep check on. One got a generator and a gallon of gas and thought they were prepared. So had to put that together tonight, get them another 5 gallons to get them them going. And find time tomorrow to show them how to use.

I will be down there probably next week as soon as I can get down there to help assess our damages and hopefully recover what we can if need be. If ya'll need anything from the high ground let me know and I'll do what I can to TW Express it to ya.
