Ch. 7 Bankruptcy Filed 9/6/18

Been holding off on commenting hoping that somehow Satin or Tyler would/could respond. I’ve been to their house, had dinner with them, considered them good friends, and have their front and rear bumpers, full skids, fuse plate, fairlead, and clothing. Loved their products! On 02/08 I paid in full for the 3rd gen dual to replace my existing Pelfrey bumper. CITI just gave me a refund pending investigation. I hope the money sticks in my account! And I really hope that somehow everyone can get their money back.
Saw Satin and Tyler at Overland Expo and they were all smiles taking about all the positive growth and excitement for the future. I can’t wrap my head around how it went from that to this.

 

Alright not to beat a dead horse here and to give the benefit of the doubt. Maybe they knew they were f**ked so they started bankruptcy proceedings while working with investors because they knew without the investors they needed to BK cause the business was going belly up?

Its shitty and I feel for everyone that lost money. I hope you can get some of it back at least. They seemed good people so maybe they just sucked at business.

This was all handled just poorly by them. Honestly they should have either:
A. Kept us all in the dark about this until the investors decided and or filed bankruptcy then done a public statement
OR
B. Kept us in the loop immediately every step of the way starting Tuesday moving forward.

This is where they screwed up and burnt all of the #pelfreybiltfamily.

In this day and age you can't post something like they did on Friday and not expect negative repercussions. Too much speculation, too much internet contact speed, etc.

I really, really hope that the courts are able to sell off assets and get everyone what is due to them and that the charge backs work for everyone.

Got to remember at least there is 77 pages in their BK paperwork. At least they didnt take the cash and go opps thats just gone.

Gotta pretend theres some sort of positive out of all this negative

The irony by choosing that name is that he was a complete moron that sucked at life and everyone made fun of him for being so clueless.

It's like picking the username "Trolly McDumbfuck". Not exactly subtle, brah!

I can't believe we're still doing this, but I guess here I am contributing to the 82 pages of noise. There's a lot of energy surrounding this for a number of reasons. I'll admit my confidence is a little shaken up from the experience here.

Satin and Tyler are more than likely sad that its come too this,but its just money,life goes on.
