    This was my favorite tube front I’ve ever built.

    x2. Always been a single cab kind of fella too. A lot of companies make really nice bumpers, but with my SC affliction, the big plate stuff looks awkward on the smaller trucks, to me anyway. Plus the added weight to a single cab can be a bit much.

    I can't wait to get a rear HC tube bought/made/whatever. I've been huge into that look ever since I first saw it.

    Those are both awesome!! This one gets my tie breaker vote though, lol!! Always much appreciation for the DIY stuff. The custom stuff is always really good, especially when well done. I wish I had half the skill in that area.

    @weldertaco.

    Would you mind sending me any close up pics you might have of some of those bumpers? Would really like to see your mounting areas. Steal some of your ideas, if you dont mind!!

    Well no worries then, lol!!. I had honestly been looking at them on my phone, pics are a lot smaller on it. Your 2nd bumper pic shows up a lot better on a regular screen. Wife's stepbrother is a fab kid. More than willing to help build me something, definitely going to have some kind of plating like you have there, on both actually. Dig the look a lot, props on the work. :cheers:

    This fella just arrived via mail also!!

    Here is a link to it on Amazon:
    https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01M1SMPOS/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

    Price was obviously really good. Has a lot of 4/5 star reviews, nothing below a 4. Figured it would be a good idea to give one a go. Boxing was solid. The little storage bag is dang handy. Got a little sticker and coupon code for a next order, which I will totally be making. Would like to pick up a D-Ring hitch recovery thingy the same company offers.

    It was really all about the colors. Green N' Black always lookin' good. :D ;)

    I had a line on winch but i decided to pass it up. It was a practicality new smittybilt xrc8 winch for $100 :eek: It would have been without the controller box and remote though. Summit had box/remote kits for 120ish.

    Decided I want to get yelled at for a locker by the wife more than I do a winch. Lol. :spending::angrygirl:

    Coulda tried to turn around and resell for locker $ but I didn't want to end up not being able to. Also dont think I am going to go the winch route. Everyone else has one and I just picked up the strap. I am honestly thinking about a power puller instead. :anonymous:

    The floormat is a very important vehicle accessory in the manual trans! Who Knew!!! :cool::D

    Had to pull off one of the little country roads I take home from work and pitch the driver floor mat in the bed. I wear work boots, they have a lip for the sole. All the freakin' time the sole lip gets caught up on the stupid floormat and really just screws up my clutch footing like nothing else. Impossible to get a smooth release.

    All in all, it was actually incredibly fucking irritating and I wanted to burn my floormat in a fire right then and there. :bananadead:

    :rant::bananadead::rasta::headbang:

    OP = :der:

    :rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

    I got some more recovery things too, cause recovery is important. Maybe. I think. ;)

    Next up: Locker or Bust. I got a month. :popcorn:

    With the KY/TN groups luck relating to rain, seems likely to happen in the sooner rather than later future, lol.

    I've done it every trip, almost. Get used to the lack of feeling anything in your feet. Which is why I stall, over-rev, and dump the clutch often.

    -that's my excuse and I'm stickin to it!

    Lol. But what about when it's not raining/muddy? I can use the "I'm learning" excuse, for awhile anyway. :D

    Lotta good trucks around here. I like those trucks. I also like this truck a lot too. Hopefully a nice weekend coming up, got a little to do list for the 2TRunner - ver 2.0.

    ECGS front diff bushing
    Oil Change
    Trans fluid change (any rec's from the manual trans club?)
    Maybe get the rear derp'd up to match the front.

    Da' green truck has become a 30K lawn ornament for the most part. She sits and just looks pretty. I'm amazed no one has called me out on it yet, but here I sit, with a comment in a thread somewhere about how I would never DD a truck with MTs again. And now...with the choice between a butter smooth ride and a truck with MTs. I pick the truck with MTs to DD. :rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:
