we cant be the only ones to experience this.. at least we're not alone haha... But, so far, ive found no solid info on any of my vibrations other than, might be this, might be that.

im trying to determine now if the vibration stopping while turning right, is actually related to the act of turning, or the suspension on the left side getting compressed. Im on the verge of just doing the ecgs bushing. Even though the symptoms aren't the same. im at a loss here. its getting worse

I’d change out the drivers side wheel bearing to a new one and needle bushing to the solid ECGS and see if that eliminates it.

Well you dont have to go 60+ in reverse, if its a bad bearing or something along those lines 5+ in reverse is plenty fast enough for you to hear it. Its worth a shot, but you dont have to do it, was just a suggestion

Did you try getting a high speed calibration?

what I was getting at is why would just going in reverse cause it to be so much more noticeable?

Usually where the weight of the vehicle is shifted differently, it causes the issue to show itself.

Put it on jack stands. Grab the top of each tire and shack the sh***** out of each one to see if there is any back and forth play. Spin the tires, listen for grinding metal on metal. While on jack stands ***securely*** on jack stands, get in the truck, put it in gear, AT IDLE speed, stay in the truck with foot on the brake just in case, have a buddy stand by each wheel, TO THE SIDE, and listen for the whurr, whurr, whurr of bad wheel bearing. And, yes, when a bearing is bad on one side, when your turn in the opposite direction it gets quieter when under load.

Next time you notice it, right after, try going to a big empty parking lot, drive about 35MPH and do big kinda sharp big S-Curves, see if you get vibration on a certain side.

I always thought that if you turn towards it is when it gets quiet. That's what the mechanic said too. He put it on a lift, put it in 4wd and put a stethoscope on all the bearings and never could hear anything abnormal. there was no play anywhere. He never could tell driving either, but he was only hitting 60, and on a rough road. He didn't think it was a bearing after that, but we changed it anyway, just to rule it out. Maybe its the other one.

Do you know at least if it's from the front or the rear?

tomorrow im going to put my old wheels and tires back on.. Just gotta put stems in and seat the bead on one side. They are regular highway tires.. And drive a little to completely eliminate any tire noise from the wildpeaks. Do some parking lot circles.. today I did a little harder cornering around 35 back and forth,, and I might have noticed a little more on the left.. Gotta see for sure though... I have another bearing on the way here, So im going to change the other one to see what happens. Hope it fixes it. if so.. What I may have learned is that at high speed if you turn away from the the bad bearing, the noise stops.. but at low speed,,, turn toward it, and its "quieter" . we shall see.

put my stock wheels and tires back on.. could still feel it.. but it wasn't quite as bad. I wonder if the backspacing made that difference because the FN wheels set out farther, putting more leverage on the bearings. .. but, it was still there.. But I almost had to very very slightly turn left to really feel it sometimes. Which doesn't make sense. still turn to the right and all is well. I couldn't really notice anything going slow. The other day while going slow with my other tires,,, I almost thought I noticed something when turning hard right at around 30... Nothing makes sense! some things say turn right and it quits, that's the right wheel bearing... so I replaced it. Didn't help. Now some people are saying turn right and it goes away, its the left bearing... so what the heck? it still doesn't seem to act like its the needle bearing.. I don't know what to do. Guess Ill put another bearing in and see what happens

Do you have or can borrow a GoPro or SJCam? Mount it at each corner, take a ride then checkout the video and sounds, see if anything stands out? I'm not saying go out and buy a Cam, but if you have access to one, might help.

so, With the stock highway tires/wheels it wasn't quite as bad... So, I put on the REAR wheels and tires on, to see if anything changed.. It didn't seem to. Went back and put the fronts on, and it seemed to be a little worse. The new wheels and tires have less backspace so they set out a little farther, putting more leverage on the bearing. But, to me, the fact that the rears didn't change it but the fronts seemed to make it worse... narrows it down to for sure the front..

FIXED! I changed the Drivers side front hub assembly yesterday.. That seemed to do the trick. Seems completely opposite of what I would suspect. Usually you would think if you turn RIGHT and it goes away, its the passenger side.. Wasn't the case this time. Thanks! now on to the other vibrations I have!
