Looks great! Any chance you have the dimensions for each piece? Looking to do something pretty similar.

 

Simple velcro, overlap the windows and it sticks to the carpet inside the shell. Back windoor insulation is cut tight to the frame and velcro on the glass. Shades are two piece for window access to vent, as well as can have them half up/half down if wanted.

I might still have the plans, I'll check my folders when I get home and will scan them for ya.

.pdf attached. It wasn't dimensioned super well, but enough for you to get the idea. I recall having to trim a few pieces too, I didn't account enough for the carpet, so these measurements are not perfect. I recommend measuring for yourself and making adjustments. 2nd page is the cut layout.

I like that little platform area on the right where you can put your things lower, rather than a bed platform all the way across!

 

Thanks! Idea is so I can sit sideways with my feet on the floor - great for putting boots on in winter months. And the lower piece creates the full platform when needed.

Now... just how does a 6' dood like myself go about sleeping in the bed of a shortbox? Maybe a foot and a half long "slideout" section and some sort of tentlike wrap around thingamajig? Anyone have experience with that?
