Now that Pelfreybilt is no more, who has similar geometry rock sliders?

    Hello,

Given the recent events surrounding Pelfreybilt, unfortunately I need to find a new source for rock sliders.

The reason I'm asking, because I really liked the kickout transition on Pelfreybilt sliders, while ascetically I enjoy it more, more importantly, the slight curve out towards the rear wheel rather than the "bump" a lot of fabricators employ, the slight curve out offers less resistance as well against an object rather than potentially getting caught up on the bump.

I was hoping given the sheer number of fabricators out there someone could point me the right direction,

Personally, I'm looking for a bolt on, no drilling mounting solution.

    Thanks,

    -genericTiger

I wonder if people could just copy their designs for you.

Its not like they can afford a patent lawyer :rimshot:

Depending on how you use your sliders, the 'bump' serves a purpose. Since you have a short bed this isn't as much of an issue, but with my DCLB if I'm in a tight place, I'll use the sliders to pivot around an obstacle rather than doing a thirty point turn and having the bump there gives me a place to 'dig in' and pivot.

You must have been in a remote place with no contact with the world the last few weeks.

They took orders and cash payments on products all the way up till the day they filed Chapter 7.

@Mobtown Offroad has similar if not better sliders. I gave mine a beating a couple weeks ago and can vouch for them.

Wow, that's amazing. I almost dropped $2k with them on Labor Day. I ended up going with RCI Metalworks since they were local and saved a lot of money on shipping (plus apparently I'll actually get my order)

I just looked on their website, and they still have all their products for sale....?

Steel is steel, to say one slider is stronger than another... barring anything AllPoo .... as long as they are using similar thickness/types of steel, is crazy. Anything better than fence post will protect your vehicle.

Fence post works as well. It has a nice give to it so the impacts are softened :bananadead:
