On both estimates I got I was told to replace the right bumper bracket. Is this bracket needed for Eddy’s bumper? I’ll need to find one if so...

 

which piece? All you need to mount the bumper is the 6 bolts here

Those help support the headlight/grill. They don't have anything to do with an aftermarket bumper. Lemme check the garage, I had an extra set at one point.

I don't think they are 100% necessary. I know with some bumper manufacturers make you take out the middle bar that connects to it.

No.you do not for the SOS bumpers

Yes they bolt up to the rad support and then that area is where one of the headlight bolts are and the tab for the lower part of the grill. On the SOS bumper the middle bar that goes between those braces can be retained unless there is interference from a winch.

 

I don't have an SOS bumper, but I did remove that bracket. I had to so I could install my winch.

 

I don't plan on having a winch.

So I do need to get a replacement bracket?
