It’s all good, but i thought you only had issues on one hill....

Speaking of Jambo, we will need to start thinking about this here in the not too distant future

Only got stuck on one hill and had to get winched up..

But on the others, i really had to get momentum because the 2.7 doesnt make much torque down low. A couple times i had to back down the hill and get more speed going up bc the truck was trying to stall..

Itd be great if it had low range.. but with just high, it struggles

    Hey everyone,

Looking for place to instal some Ridge Grapplers on the new wheels; anyone have a place that they recommend?

Usually use discount tire but they want to charge close to $100 for just mounting the new tires on the wheels. Feel like I could get a better deal on it, especially considering the money I just dropped on the tires with them.

Do they still offer lifetime balancing and rotation of you didn't buy them there? Might be worth it if so.

10 or 12k winch for a quad cab with armor? I feel like 10k would be fine, 12k might be better. I've heard too much winch can bend a frame.

Have them match with Amazon then take the tires to a small tire shop to get them installed.

I would like to get everyone who wants to go and travel up together, if I still have the RV I will drag it up there.

Not sure but I dont need lifetime rotations or balancing. Just need it mounted on the wheel and balanced right the first time.

I dont need a price match on tires I already bought, just need a good wheel/tire mounting place.

Just search out a small tire shop, most of them do a good job. We have one local called CD’s but they are all over town.

So... I went to Moss Motors for an alignment (they told me yesterday it would be 89 bucks), they called me and said it would be 179 because they have to do a full alignment and not just adjust the toe. Seems a bit much to me.... I then asked about balancing the tires, and he proceeded to tell me 110.... Needless to say, I called back and told them not to do anything to it and I'll take it elsewhere tomorrow. Good waste of time taking it to them...

I could.. but its so much cheaper to build a street truck.. once you go bigger tires, a regear would be in order and then of course armor..

Id be nervous driving a new (to me) truck offroad.. would much rather thrash on the ol turtle:D

Yeah, apparently the 89 was just to adjust the toe... I'd never heard of anything like that before. When I asked about balancing the tires and he said 110, I thought that was balancing the tires and adjusting the toe. I told him discount tire only charges 36 bucks and he said take it there. LMAO

I explained I did lift but we’ve also bought about 5 vehicles from them

No, I am asking for a referral to a good shop. A place someome here has personal experience with.

Don't feel like gambling and winning some fuckery.

Too many places out there running shenanigans!

Exactly the kind of fuckery I am talking about... lol.

    Sucks man.

I was told Brauns automotive was good. No experience with them yet.
