What he said, start left and work it to the right and get all the slack to the tensioner

 

I've always pulled the PS and AC to the side and removed the AC bracket to get to that bolt. How did you get in there?

fuck I thought I had a photo of it. Its a small dot on the crank pulley. Do the tensioner LAST next time as well. Makes lining up everything much much easier. Then just push in the tensioner and use the mounting bolts to suck it down. IDK why everyone trys it the other way. I laughed at that step in the video. Though in Timmy's defense he corrected himself in a 2nd video.

Meh, i did like 10 haha Like I said, brain dead from work these past days. also getting a cold. Doesn't help so not super motivated to do much of anything. I will get this done before AZ though!

I don't recall that bolt, but I do remember pulling the AC compressor and mount and PS pump completely off when I did mine. Not sure why exactly I did that, but must have made it a little easier to work on the TB.

 

my at dipstick is a bit contorted and does not go in smoothly. I think it's normal. Certainly not straight and easy like the oil dipstick.

 

@drr where did you get your lights from again? I looked and think the Q series Hyper/driver combo will work great for me. Bit bigger than the ones you put on.

 

Damn, those Q series are beastly. Pretty similar light output to the D-XL Pro Hyperspots though, which are the ones I got

Bought them on group buy through mrtmotorsports.net at 30% off, and Rigid was having a $50 rebate deal at the same time. Brought it down to about $330.

I might go with the regular Spot pattern if I were to get them again.

 

I think the driving(45º)and Hypershot will be about perfect.

With the ditch lights added in should make for a great deer spotting combo, which is what Im after haha

You can't get the XL pro is a combo pattern either..so the advantage goes to the Q series there.

So much has changed in less than a year..

 

Yeah they look like a great all-in-one light. It'll be interesting to put them side by side and see the difference. The lights in my bumper are D2 driving lights, so theoretically it should be a similar light output with both sets on.

 

Indeed! Going to try and get some quotes soon. Still think I'll do Amber Squadrons in the bumper for fog lights. Should be okay for me up front anyways.
