Well that's the information I was looking for then. Just depends on when I can get to either Toyota or Ace then. I don't need them for a few days anyways

I'm going to say at least 1/8 of the bolts on my truck are from the Metric drawer at Home Depot.

I might have a set of new OEM bolts that I got from Toyota that were extra if you want them.

So my truck starts to sputter in the morning when it’s cold then it warms up and goes away.

Sputter as in the RPMs dip too low and it struggles to idle?

Sputters as it at high idle then gets to temp and idle goes down and sputter goes away.

I haven’t checked for leaks yet. And no codes

I'd start with the basics...clean the throttle body and MAF sensor if it hasn't been done in awhile, both can cause weird idling issues. Figure a vacuum leak would toss a code if that were the case

yeah the gasket on my Dorman handle is my only complaint with it, it is ever so slightly not completely sealed against the body of the door but it's really not a big deal. Glad to hear it worked out for you

yeah luckily when I had mine breaking it was only one side at a time....would have sucked hard core if both door handles broke at the same time and been locked out of the truck entirely. That's why I was always quick to replace them even though I hated doing it lol.

I picked one up a couple years ago off of Craigslist for $120 in decent condition, it was a early model (1st design) one. I really liked it but the freaking velcro on the back never stayed on and I ended up putting heavy duty velcro on my tailgate and it still didn't work...then after I sold the soft topper that velcro wouldn't come off easily lol. Took some paint with it...was a nightmare. To this day I'm still getting that adhesive residue off.

I really do like how soft toppers look on 1st gens but mine just didn't work out, I know they've had a few redesigns over the years so I'm sure the one you got is way better than the one I did.

I'm planning on experimenting with Magnets. Sounds like you at least got a good deal on it. Not like you spent $800 for some paint damage.

My goal is to use it for sleeping when moto camping. Drop the softopper when hauling the bike then raising it when I need somewhere to sleep.

Nice, yeah we used to use mine to sleep/camp in before the RTT. It didn't work that great with 2 of us (me and my fiancé) but should be more than big/comfy enough for one person. Also because mine didn't seal/close well, it would let a lot of wind and dirt in at night which sucked big time lol. I definitely recommend some kind of mattress for the truck bed, either inflatable or some kind of pad.
