This is why I'm happy to be part of the Toyota community. We share information to help eachother out. That AAL sucked. Every video I found made it look easy.

The rattle itself didn't really bug me since I have noises from tires, wind and exhaust but I wanted to mention it. That tip is very helpful.

Dude it it did suck! Same here, seemed easy and I had no idea until I watched your video. It prepared me for how much of a pain in the ass it was going to be.

So since Weathertech has a dual function for its windshield covers. The reflective side to reflective the heat away during hot season and the black side to absorb heat on colder season. Yes, I know I live in Arizona where it's like a baking oven during summers. I decided to keep the black side facing out on the side windows and rear window, then leaving the reflective side facing out for the front windshield. I believe the black facing out gives it a cleaner look for the sides and rear then having the reflective side facing out. From a distance it looks like a really dark limo tint. I will post pictures later after work. Don't get me wrong the Tacoma still feels cool inside with these shade on the black side after sitting in the sun for a period of time. Maybe I could decrease the inside temperature a little more if I had the shades on correctly, but I like how it is. Also, when flipping it to the black side the fitting is reversed passenger side goes on driver side.

Installed mud flaps from Amazon, perfect fit and easy install. Cant believe my truck didn't come with them. All my other Tacomas did.

You can also configure the mount so the vent is wide open. See my post above...sorry for the picture angle.

Easy peasy install, 6 bolts. So much better than the piece of tin foil Toyo uses. I will definately order the other skids.20180912_155733.jpg 20180912_155739.jpg

I think the going rate for a set of V3s are $75.

Trust me there is nothing wrong with the V3 version. That is what I have and I have no intentions of getting the V4. The V3 work great and look the same. Only difference is more led 's in the housing. They both have the smoked tint and look great. Here is my V3
