    There was but had to bend the hook to get them free, the wires were so taut they were already pulling on the little plastic hook. Someone at the factory hated slack lol. All good, thanks for the ill lights:thumbsup:

    Just put some pressure on the outer screw hole. Bends it to the right shape and will pop right in

    Once unclipped, yes. But mine were very short too and took some gentle prying to get off the clip/hook and then back on for the reinstall.

    Had the same issue...

    Real jealous of everyone's install pics. I wish USPS wasn't such garbage. Was supposed to recieve them yesterday, but never showed. Went to try to pick them up tonight and they told me I just had to wait for them to be delivered tomorrow, because they were going to be too hard to find in the back.... I'm too excited for this waiting game, USPS!

    USPS still has mine :( Should have chosen the faster shipping option, lesson learned.

    My v3s were a little tight and that time I used a pair of needle nose. This time I didn't even try it, just got them out and worked just fine.
    Not saying it's not the case, just saying I think some trucks have more slack than others.

    I also noticed once I really tucked the bottom edge of the light foam strip way down inside the housing, the tab, the circular pin and wires all fit much better.

    Mine was an extremely tight fit aswell. Honestly thought I was going to break the tab. My truck was built in Texas also.

    @mesojdm
    Just a heads up. I had to adjust the spacing on the connector pins on both lamps. They each had one pin moved to the out side. The electrical plug would not fully seat and latch until I adjusted the out of alignment pin.

    They work great and look great. Thanks Meso.

    Thanks, I've had a few other members mention this. Which is odd because I literally HAND TESTED each one plugging in a stock connector in/out on the bench. So idk..
