Curious to see where this build goes! Any plans as of yet?

 

Such a bummer. They really need to bring the track back. I know I'd build a car if we had one.

 

Boost of course. Hehe. Ovtune twin kit caught my eye. That was the kicker for me going for a 3rd gen. But I think what the capabilities it comes from factory will suit my needs especially considering I want to go back into wheeling. I didn’t sell off my enkies so will be keeping those but unsure what size tire to wrap them with.

 

This is the same experience I've seen as well.

 

Only word I heard for track stuff was Tupola who is actively trying to resurrect one.

Honestly .. unless you’re dead set on a one year color lease and OEM leather, you may want to look at an Off Road model for much cheaper. You can get a comparable lift, leather seat covers, a grill, and skid, and be in it for much less still.

Pro will hold its value better obviously and have the OEM badging, but just an idea. Voodoo Blue looks .. jarring.

Haha. That’s another reason I like it, it stirs up people’s opnions. I was always a person who likes blue. I was hoping for a 2018 Calvary Blue but the 2019 voodoo blue I also like. But I guess to each his own. As far as getting a Off-road model I’ve considered that as well but I’ve always wanted to purchace top of the line model at least once in my life and the trdpro will do just that for me. But I guess to each his own.

 

Not hating - do you. I had a T4R Pro in Cav Blue on the way until I decided against getting boned on a trade / stressing about private sale.

 

Plus I can’t go too high on a lift. I work in Waikiki so gotta make sure I fit in the garages lol

 

Feel that. Just don’t get a 6” lift.. but remember 6” looks different to everyone

Gonna buy a brand new pro and throw away the warranty by lifting it and installing a twin turbo?

I think you buy a Toyota because it has no frills and you assume that is going to last. Basically, you think you're paying for a quality product. On the other hand, when you buy a Hyundai, you are essentially paying for the 10 year bumper to bumper 100k mile warranty. Then you have to pray that it doesn't spend majority of those 10 years in a dealer repair shop.
