With everything going on in the next few days I'm wondering if anything happens to our Wilmington crew if anyone would be willing to brave it and convoy to get them out.

This would take a small fleet to do it right and considerable gas amount as I'm assuming that there won't be power at the pumps and threre won't be any down there.

Obviously this would be dangerous and volunteer only but if i can help I'm sure gonna try.

Anyone willing would meet up at a specified point near Raleigh or on the way to Wilmington and head down with multiple recovery rigs to share resources so that we can get our people out

Can you expand on what you mean by recovery rig? I'm not sure whether you are talking about people, their trucks or both. I ask because a lot of recovery stuff (e.g. a winch) is the next phase of my build. Is there something one can do with a Taco without a lot of recovery equipment? Thanks.

Good question. A basic lift and bigger tires would be a minimum depending on the flooding down there. Armor is a bonus to either push shit outta the way or save your vehicle from damage. Equipment like which isn't absolutely needed but would help, would also need some chainsaws and gas cans.. many gas cans.

There are many of us around town with a capable truck but people to help us always a bonus

So I have a Taco 4X4 V6. Just lifted it 1.5" in the front and 2" in the back with ADS 2.5" reservoir shocks and medium Dakars. Also threw on 265 Ridge Grapplers and RCI sliders, IFS and trans armor.. Its gassed to the gills and has about 7.5 extra gallons in the back.

Oh, and I have a brand spankin new Husqvarna Rancher chain saw.
