Really, wow. Looks like we need a big crew to all go together. 3 cans time a big crew, should be enough. As most want the IPA stuff anyways, leaves more good stuff us.

Wouldn’t be an issue for me. That’s about 3 cans too many of a porter :crapstorm:

Umpire in the Sox game tonight is like a pair of mislabeled pants from T.J. Maxx... irregular and unpredictable...

Yuck! I've heard a vinegar bath works pretty well. Good luck with that!

We bathed her in a mixture of peroxide/baking soda/dish soap but it looks like she got sprayed in the face possibly the mouth too and she’s got an eye twitching and excessive drooling. I’m going to call the vet at 8 just to see what their suggestion is

When I was in H.S. my dog got sprayed, my dad let him in for the night and went to bed not knowing. We woke up in the morning and went about our routines and headed to school.

Apparently we all went nose blind overnight as the skunk smell spread through the whole house, and we didn't notice. But all 4 of us had to have our mom bring fresh clothes she washed to school because we stunk and no one would sit near us/let us in their class.

This is a shot in the dark but does anyone have a spare pair of spindles they're willing to sell or trade for my all pro gusseted ones? The all-pro ones that I have now don't fit with the wheel/tire configuration I want to run. I'd prefer to trade with someone who has a spare set and doesn't mind waiting a bit because I will need to get them regusseted with total chaos gussets and then paint them before I swap them in and give you my current set.

You'll be getting a spindle set with all-pro gussets pretty much for free minus some down time on my end...

It's the peroxide, Baking soda, dish soap...This formula neutralizes the Thiol groups (they are what makes the smell) they are the same group of chemicals that give garlic it's smell (sometimes from a distance faint skunk spray smells like garlic) and they are the chemicals used to straighten/perm hair, that's why a fresh perm smells skunky...
    https://wildlife.unl.edu/pdfs/removing-skunk-odor.pdf
If it went in the dogs eyes.. PUT ON GLOVES! and some clothes you don't give a crap about. You can wipe away from the eyes with paper towels that have been dabbed with the mixture and then lots of water. Soak and soap with the mixture all the areas that got hit. Let it sit for a bit and then rinse it off...repeat...a lot...When you are doing this also have a large disposable towel or blanket handy and close most of the shower curtain because the dog is going to shake off and you don't want to spray that goop all over your walls...
The little fella that is my avatar dug out a skunk from under the shed during a cold february. The skunk, awakened from his hibernation, shot her in the face with a thick viscous vaseline like plug of skunk goop...It smelled like a tire fire. She then shook off on the snow by the door and got the goop on the snow...When I went to the door she was snotting and drooling like a maniac. The house had a skunk stank until at least june...and we had it on the market. Needless to say it didn't sell.

When you are done there will be a noticeable decrease in the smell but you will also be use to it and not notice it as much because of olfactory fatigue. It's pretty cool, but to protect you and keep you from going insane from over stimulation your body protects you when you are over exposed to stinky things.
