October is beautiful. November is good. Dec and March are kind of a mix. April is beautiful.

    Love it!

Just got some bad news. Apparently working on your vehicle is forbidden in my building's rule and regulations. Not sure what I'll do now...

Same at my apartment. I wait for a day that the office is closed and go towards the back of the complex where most people wont see. Then I do what I gotta do. Been successful at it for 5 months now. I obviously cant swap I motor here but oil changes and smaller things, I can get by with.

My cousin's 97 Tacoma got fucked up bad yesterday. He was parked at his dad's house and his older brother backed into it by accident. It's a stick shift, with a busted e brake (that I offered to fix multiple times if he'd get the new cable) and my uncles yard/driveway is an incline. I'm sure most of you see where this is going.
The impact knocked it out of gear, it started rolling down the hill, picked up a good bit of speed, and was stopped by tree before it made it to the bottom of the holler where it would have probably rolled over. Smashed the front end into the radiator and bent the hood. Luckily that's all that was damaged.
Deffinatly will need some help from my other 1st geners while ya'll are looking around for parts. If you see any front end body parts from a 95.5 to 99 taco somewhat local to nashville, let me know. His brother is basically fucking him over and he could use some help.

I’ll make it really easy...come get them, mount them and see if they fit. I would almost guarantee they’d fit though.

You may be right. Actually since regearing I have plenty of power off-road. It’s on the highway where it sucks...but since I’m leaning more and more towRds a pure trail rig, the highway will become less important anyway.

They’ll fit. These things will fit 285’s with no lift. There’s a chart online somewhere that tells you what all fits and what doesn’t. Dave also says they’ll fit, and if Dave says it, it’s gotta be true.

If my NA 3RZ pushes 37’s down the road fine, then I’d think you’d be good with the GR. Levi is right on though that you won’t be pulling hills at 75

4runner even held 80 half the way home. Hills at about 75 in 4th.
Tacoma would hold 85 all day on 4.10s with 35s, but really steep hills I'd have to drop out of overdrive and still end up around 70-75

That's my plan for this weekend, but I'm not sure if I can get away with installing my steel rear bumper like this haha

No but really. I need dis.

How far out from Nashville? No matter how you answer, I'll probably be there anyways with beer haha

    But really let's do this!

I can't remember my exact response when we rode with Jeremy but it was something like "That's it?". He said somewhere in the 100whp added range and it just felt like a slow ass truck to me. I'd think about an engine bore and stroke before touching a SC for the 1GR.

    But it sounds coooooool!!!!

Sometimes I make racecar noises when I drive my truck. Throw is some body roll and it feels like I’m hauling ass.
